시드니 대학교 테솔TESOL 과정 기간별 정리 :-)

워킹 홀리데이 비자로 호주 출국을 앞두고 있습니다. 

저의 가장 큰 목표는 시드니 대학교(The University of Sydney) 에서 Tesol 과정을 듣는 것(!) 

테솔 수료과정 기간은 4주 부터 2년 석사과정까지 천차만별 입니다. 

- Certificate IV in Tesol - 4~8주 과정           cf) Certificate IV in Tesol은 시드니 대학교 부속기관 과정으로 정규 과정이 아닙니다.               국제학교에서 선생님으로 일하려면 일반 사설어학원이나 대학 부설에서 받는 수료증은 통용되지 않습니다.               현재 시드니에서 테솔 Certificate IV 를 운영 중인 학교는               IH, ILSC, TEG education, ALCE 등등 4-5군데가 있습니다.                - Graduate Certificate - 0.5 년(full-time over 1 semester), 1년(part-time over 1 year)  - Master of Education degree - 1년(full-time over 1 year), 2년(part-time over 2 years)

0.5년 이상의 장기 과정은 IELTS 점수가 필요하고 그 이하는 인터뷰로 대체 합니다. 

또한 호주 워킹홀리데이 비자로 최대 17주의 어학과정을 들을 수 있으므로, 

장기과정을 수료하고 싶다면 학생비자를 취득하셔야 합니다. 

* 학생비자를 취득 역시 IELTS 점수가 필요합니다. 

아이엘츠 응시 가격이 한국에서 20만원, 호주에서는 40만원 수준(!) 이기 때문에 호주 출국 전에 철저히 준비하시기 바랍니다 :)

모든 자료는 Domestic students 가 아닌 International students 기준입니다.

CERTIFICATE IV IN TESOL

In partnership with International House Sydney,  Graduates may be given credit towards further TESOL studies at Universities in Australia. At the end of this course and pass the requirements you will receive a certification from International House. 1 trainer to 6 trainees. 4 weeks full time. 120 class hours (100% attendance is required). An additional 120 hours of reading, lesson preparation and assignments is required. Native to near native English ability is required.  Students can gain the dual certificate of the Cambridge CELTA and Certificate IV in TESOL

GRADUATE CERTIFICATE IN EDUCATIONAL STUDIES (TESOL)

Duration for international students: 0.5 years full time1 year part time (domestic students only)  Tuition Fee:$30,000 per year of full-time study of 48 credit points. English language requirements:IELTS: A minimum result of 6.5 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band. TOEFL paper-based: A minimum result of 577 overall including a minimum result of 4.5 in writing.TOEFL IBT: A minimum result of 90 overall including a minimum result of 22 in reading, listening and speaking and 23 in writing. Closing dates:Semester 1, 2013    31 October 2012 Semester 2, 2013    30 April 2013 Commencing semesters:Semester 1 (March) or Semester 2 (July) Location:Camperdown campus
