English has a number of words which occur in groups of two.
Binomials are two words which are joined by a conjunction (such as and or but) or by a preposition (such as to or by). Remember the prefix bi- means two or twice.
Binomials are like idioms and are fixed phrases which people tend to use in informal situation.
Remember to keep the words in the same order because the order is fixed.
