Basic expressions of speaking 

Speaking of 무엇 : ~에 대해 말하자면

(ex) Speaking of his merits, he's very intelligent.

Otherwise : 그렇지 않으면

(ex) It's better to let him finish it today. otherwise, he won't be able to meet the deadline.

I'm not sure if ~ : ~인지 확실치않다

(ex) I'm not sure if the store still open.

How come 문장~? : 어째서(왜) ~ 인가요?

(ex) How come it's that expensive?

be unlikely to 동사 : ~못 할 것 같다

(ex) It's unlikely to rain today.

be supposed to 동사 : ~하기로 되어 있다

(ex) She's supposed to come here tonight.

I realize (that) 문장 : ~을 알게 되다

(ex) I realized I like coffee.

In terms of 무엇 : ~에 있어서

(ex) My former job was better only in terms of money.

I heard (that) 문장 : ~라더라

(ex) I heard he got a car accident.

I'd rather 동사 ~ than 동사 : 차라리 ~하겠다

(ex) I'd rather eat my lunch alone than have with him.
